Our journey began with a shared dream: to create a space where visitors could immerse themselves in the lush rainforest, experience the warmth of our heritage, and enjoy the comforts of a home in the heart of nature.This dream became a reality through the hard work and dedication of our family.
At the heart of Mamá Yeya Raíces is Doña Amalia—our matriarch, chef, and visionary—whose passion for sharing our culture shines in every detail, from our glamping cabins to her unforgettable traditional dishes.
Supporting her every step of the way is Don Victor, her husband and the driving force behind the construction of our cabins. With his expertise and determination, he ensured that each cabin was thoughtfully designed to blend harmoniously with the jungle.
Our two sons also play a vital role in the day-to-day operations. From hosting guests to helping with logistics and maintaining the property, their energy and commitment make Mamá Yeya Raíces a family effort. Together, we have built more than a business—we’ve built a haven where visitors can connect with nature, experience our culture, and feel the love that binds our family.
